For car importers

A used-car catalog for your car importer website

If you import cars from Korea, China or US auctions, your customers want to choose on their own — on your site, with photos and prices. apiauto.space provides the data for it: the Encar, Che168, Copart and IAAI catalogs through an API in one format. The site and the turnkey price stay yours; the data and its refresh are ours.

What your customer sees

  • Cars with photos, year, mileage, city and price — in the source currency and in dollars.
  • Filters: make, model, year, price, mileage, fuel, gearbox, body.
  • New arrivals and price drops — from the change feed (Pro and Max).
  • US auction lots with the auction date, damage and title type.

How it works

  1. Your site's server requests /v1/cars with the filters it needs — on a schedule or when a customer opens the catalog.
  2. The key stays on the server: the API is never called from the browser (CORS is off), or every visitor would see the key.
  3. Your site computes the landed price with delivery, customs and your fee by your own formula: the API gives the source price and price_usd; the rate is in raw.fx.
  4. Photos are shown through links from the record, served by our server. Links live about a day — keep the car id, not the link.

What your developer needs

An API is data, not a finished site: a developer connects it, on any platform with a server side (PHP and WordPress, Python, Node.js). Everything they need is in the documentation: examples in four languages, record fields, errors, quotas. We do not build sites or sell templates.

The task can be put like this: “A car catalog from the apiauto.space API: a list with make, model, year and price filters, a car page with photos, hourly refresh, prices in our currency by our formula.”

Which plan fits

From one country: Korea, China or the USAStart$59 a month, 100,000 cars
From two countries + the feed of new cars and pricesPro$149 a month, 500,000 cars
From all three countriesMax$299 a month, 2,000,000 cars

The quota is the number of cars the API returned in a month, not the number of site visitors: cache answers on your side so identical requests do not spend it. A year costs ten months.

Good to know up front

  • Korea: VINs are rare, no gearbox or engine size — more about Encar.
  • China: no VIN at all, the price is the dealer's price in yuan — more about Che168.
  • USA: only lots with auctions ahead, no sale history — more about Copart and IAAI.
  • Makes and models are in Latin script; values are in English.

Frequently asked questions

01

Do I need a developer?

Yes. The API returns data; showing it on a site is a developer's job. A simple catalog needs a server-side request to /v1/cars and a car card template.

02

May I show these cars to my customers?

Yes, in your own product and to your customers, photos included. Reselling the data and full dumps need an Enterprise agreement.

03

Are prices in my currency?

The API gives the price in the source currency (KRW, CNY, USD) and in dollars at the ECB rate. Your site computes the price in your currency, with delivery and customs, by your formula.

04

How often is the catalog refreshed?

Each market's copy is refreshed on a schedule, hourly by target. The data age comes in every answer, in the X-Data-Age-Seconds header.

05

How can I try it before paying?

Take a demo key in the bot: one day, 100 requests, all three markets, free. One demo per Telegram account.
