An Encar, Che168 or Copart scraper — or a ready API

There are three ways to get Encar, Che168, Copart and IAAI data: write your own scraper, run a cloud scraper, or connect an API with the data already collected. Here is what each one takes and when each one is the better choice, with no invented prices.

When your own scraper is better

  • You need a platform we do not have: Dongchedi, Guazi, K Car, Korean auctions.
  • You need the archive of past US auctions, final prices and sale history — we serve only upcoming lots.
  • You need fields that are neither in the record nor in raw.
  • You need data fresher than hourly.
  • You want to resell the data: with us that takes an Enterprise agreement.

When an API pays off

  • You need a catalog on a site or in a Telegram bot, not a separate project of keeping scrapers alive.
  • You need two or three markets at once, in one schema: Encar, Che168 and US auctions.
  • Nobody is there to fix a scraper after every platform change.
  • You need photos without your own storage, and a feed of new cars and price drops.

If the task reads “scrape Encar for my site”

Such a task can go to a developer as an API integration: instead of a scraper, requests to /v1/cars with filters on a schedule or when a visitor opens the catalog, and the /v1/changes feed for new cars. Examples in curl, Python, JavaScript and PHP are in the documentation; each source's fields are on the Encar, Che168 and Copart and IAAI pages.

Check it in five minutes

  1. Take a demo key in the bot: one day, 100 requests, all three markets, free.
  2. Send GET /v1/cars?market=kr&limit=20 with the key in the X-API-Key header.
  3. Compare the answer with what your scraper returns: fields, photos, freshness (X-Data-Age-Seconds).

Frequently asked questions

01

How much does an Encar scraper cost?

It depends on the volume and requirements; we do not quote others' prices. Count not only development but proxies, a server, photo storage and repairs after site changes — those are recurring costs.

02

Can I combine a scraper and the API?

Yes: take three markets from the API in one schema and keep your own scraper only for a platform we do not have.

03

Is there a free plan?

There is a demo: one day, 100 requests, all three markets. There is no permanent free plan; paid plans start at $59 a month.

04

What happens when a platform changes its site?

We fix the copy, and the answer format within /v1 stays the same: fields are never removed or renamed.
